With Christmas and the New Year now in the rear view mirror I am pretty much ready to welcome spring along with warmer temperatures once again. But it seems winter has much different plans. This morning as I walked to the shop I had to be careful for there was ice afoot. While it is much warmer than the last couple of weeks it is still freezing for the most part. This afternoon after some welcome sun, a hail storm turned to snow and I had to walk carefully back to the house as the salted walks were again on the slippery side. The weatherman is again predicting I’ll have to spend time on the tractor tomorrow to clear a fresh dump of snow from the parking lot. There won’t be a lot of snow but a big load of steel arrives tomorrow and our forklift doesn’t do well on slippery surfaces. In the meantime I’ll enjoy the beauty.
