I spent my day in the shop cutting the many pieces of sheet steel and then fitting and welding up the ball collection container and wishing well bottom. Because everyone loves to throw coins into wishing wells this piece had to have a removable grate to keep unwanted fingers away from the coins. With the help of our EnRoute CAD software and the robotic plasma cutter it all went smoothly and fit together effortlessly. Once I had that giant assembly welded up I wrestled it over to the wishing well and with the help of two floor jacks it I could locate and then weld it into position. Tomorrow, it is my plan to weld in the pencil rod armature for the stone wishing well and the tree roots which hug it. My last goal of 2022 is to complete this armature by day’s end. It might just happen!
