Grant brushed on the first coat of bright red paint today. The little truck looked great but as he worked it quickly seemed like he had been in a serious accident and definitely got the poor end of the bargain. Grant was concentrating on getting the paint nice and smooth with no runs rather than watching how much he was getting on himself. We assured him the paint would wear off in a week or two at most. In any case there wasn’t much point in scrubbing endlessly for tomorrow it will be time for a second coat.
