The structure for the upper sections of the M.A.D. (Mechanical Access Device) is now fully welded. We can access the balance of the lower section with our feet firmly on the floor which will definitely speed things up. The staircase structure is proving to be every bit as complex as the robot itself. This is going to be very impressive when it is assembled on site!
