Those who see the first coat of paint on our pieces are often a bit shocked. The first coat is now on the robot and if you look close you will notice it is actually three different colours. But there are no worries for the first coat is done using paint off our shelves that we have left from previous projects. The base colour (next coat) is the under painting of what is yet to come. The final blend coat will bring us closer to what we are looking for but will still be rather gaudy and bright. The glazes and weathering (along with dry brush highlights) will bring it home to the final result. Stay tuned…
