The last of the blend coats of paint are now going onto the giant robot. Tomorrow we’ll do a little more touchup with a final coat in a few areas. This will be allowed to cure nice and hard over the weekend in preparation for the glazing, aging and grime to begin next week. As we get closer to the end of this project we are working on the scheduling of the crane service and trucking at our end along with crane and installation at its final home in Keystone, South Dakota. I’m looking forward to seeing pictures of the robot after it is assembled!
