Applying mud to the pig

IToday was the final day of concrete work on the large BBQ sign. Grant mixed up copious amounts of our secret mud. Matt and Peter troweled it on and waited for it to set - just little so it wouldn’t fall off when they sculpted. Then they worked quickly to get everything right before it hardened. The result was a whole lot of bark on the giant ‘wooden’ pig. The concrete will be allowed to cure and then it will be painted to look like the real thing. The eyes, ears and tail will be sculpted using epoxy. Stay tuned…
