Because we build everything in our studio and then transport our creationss great distances we design our fabrications to come apart for shipping. The trick is to put it back together in its permanent home without the seams showing. The solution is to hide these joins in plain sight. This morning we unbolted the top portion of the jade arch and lifted it down to allow us easy access to complete the sculpting of the jade lion and the twisted vine. We begin that work tomorrow.
