Before we can do a deep clean in the shop we first need to organize and sort the bigger things. That includes rearranging and staging the yard for the loading of the features which will happen the week after the workshop. The features are all bolted to custom made, welded steel skids with removable dolly wheels. That makes the features ‘somewhat easy’ to move but with some weighing in at 5,000 lbs or more easy is a relative term. The forklift provides the bulk of the motive power while our crew provides the fine steering. As we move each pallet we first check the bolts to ensure everything is secure. We have one more pallet to check and move before we begin moving the projects in progress out of the shop to facilitate the final clean and then the setup for the workshop. The countdown has begun…
