Keith, the new guy, got his first heavy day of mixing concrete as he worked to keep Matt & Peter supplied while they troweled on the magic mixture. They first put on a thin prime coat on all of the upside down areas. The dragon had plenty of those and most were hard to reach to boot. Then they started on the top with the heavy carving coat of mud and worked their way down. Once the concrete was troweled on it was time to go back to the top and then sculpt the charming little dude. He turned out absolutely fabulous! He’ll look great stacked on top of the post in progress just behind Peter.
