We have a good-sized painting crew laying on the paint inside the North Star suite of the Hazelnut Inn. As they triple-coat the base colours it doesn’t look like much is accomplished for at the end of the day the walls, ceilings and beams are the same colour as they were the day before. The dramatic changes occur when our talented crew gets to the glazes. In what seems like an instant everything comes to life. Rich patinas and weathered cracks are the magic.
