Painting a giant and complex feature like the old man tree is no small challenge. The reality is that any time we need to climb a ladder or scaffold our working time doubles and much of this feature is above reach from the ground. With three coats of paint and two glazes, each at least a day apart to ensure proper drying and outgassing between coats, this super sized feature is going to be in the shop for more than a week.
