Matt has spent much of this week painstakingly tying the diamond lath to the giant dragon armature and is making great progress! Like the old man tree of a couple of weeks ago, this is a deceptively technical piece to complete. Next week, although short because of a stat holiday on Monday, will be busy as we sculpt this piece and finish the paint on the tree, along with some other exciting projects at the far end of the shop. I’m out of the shop, attending a tourism farm conference in Northern California. Although I’m busier than ever, I am enjoying the time out of the shop. I’ll will return on Sunday evening and look forward to seeing all that was done in my absence.
