Progress on features in the shop seems to go in waves. Some days big things happen when a massive feature receives its sculpted concrete or a large piece is completed and is pulled outside to make room for more. Other days are all about preparation. Time is spent rearranging the shop or cutting structural steel for a new armature. Although the crew and shop are no less busy, there’s nothing flashy to look at at the end of the day. Today was such a day. Plenty was happening all through the shop but there wasn’t much flashy or visual to show the effort. Tomorrow, however, it will be the dragon’s turn to get its sculpted coat of concrete. I can hardly wait!
