I’ve always like to over design and fabricate the things we build. I’d rather be safe than sorry. One of our current projects underway in our shop is a board room table for MultiCam Western Canada. They sell heavy duty CNC machines. Since our projects all have to tell a story this one is about the heavy duty way they build their machines. We have one of their machines in our shop and it weighs almost three tons. This table looks to weigh the same.

The base is made up from schedule 40, 8” pipe. The leveler feet are imported from California and are rated for a whopping 20,000 lbs each... more than enough for this purpose. While I could have bought lighter duty feet these look the part they are playing and tell the story effectively. It’s all in the details. The top is yet to come and we’ll kick that in gear soon.
