For more than a decade now we have owned and operated a Miniature Golf Course called Giggle Ridge at Cultus Lake, B.C. - about ten miles from our home. Giggle Ridge is a proving ground for our techniques and a showcase of our work. After dreaming and drawing for more than a decade we pulled out all the stops when we built it. There was no fixed budget - every square inch of the half acre property was themed to the max. It has proven to be a good investment for our family and a lot of fun as well. Owning and operating a facility of our own has made me a better builder as well.
Each year about this time we begin the planting process with tens of thousands of flowers being planted in only a few days. This week is that week. After a decade of doing the job we are getting pretty good at it. As the trees, shrubs and perennials mature it takes less annuals every year to do the task. My hands are rough and dry from a long day in the dirt. But looking over the lush and colorful landscape at the end of the day makes it worth every bit of effort.
