The dark glaze on the feathers did exactly what I was hoping for. I custom mixed the glaze with using a black metallic and a little black cherry, then brushed it on and judiciously wiped it off again. It stayed in the dark shadows areas. With the raven largely complete it is time to begin glazing the wood. Stay tuned…
